Environment, Climate and WASH
Support ABM AID’s partners to help communities provide for and protect their families.
ABM AID’s Environment, Climate and WASH Program includes several different but interrelated activities that focus on both short- and long-term outcomes. Most partners support communities to adapt to or mitigate the effects of changes in their local weather patterns and climate in various ways: preparing their communities for increasingly common natural disasters and improving their ability to respond quickly and appropriately; protecting the environment from further degradation; increasing crop yields with better agricultural practices; and providing improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities.
You can read more about the specific examples of ABM AID’s partners engaged in the Environment, Climate and WASH Program by clicking on the links below.
Your gift to ABM AID will support our partners to stand alongside communities as they work together to better provide for their families and protect their local environment from natural disasters and changing weather patterns.

Prayer
Holy God, we thank you for work in Kenya, Myanmar, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu centred on climate change, the environment, and water, sanitation and hygiene.
Look with favour on those who prepare their communities for natural disasters and improve their ability to respond quickly and appropriately.
Bless those who protect the environment from further degradation.
Magnify the work of those who seek to increase crop yields with better agricultural practices, and shine your face on those who provide improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene facilities.
Bless those Australians who support this work. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
